Overview
Berachain
Berachain is a high-performance EVM-compatible Blockchain built on Proof-of-Liquidity. It features apps for swapping tokens, earning rewards, minting its stablecoin and lending. I joined the team at a pivot point and helped transition to better address a new institutional and business oriented target.

The challenge
From Degen to Business
Berachain had always spoken the language of crypto natives: irreverent, full of inside jokes, and made for a community that already knew the game. But the audience was changing. I redesigned the landing page to speak to businesses and institutions too, keeping the bear’s personality but trading the degen tone for clarity, credibility, and a more structured story.
The same shift ran through the rest of the brand. I refined the icons of the ecosystem apps, and I led the rebrand of Honey into BUSD, Berachain’s native stablecoin, reworking both its name and its visual identity to fit a more institutional audience.

UX improvements
Reshaping the swap experience
BeraHub is the biggest app in the ecosystem, with 15k users and $2B in TVL, and swapping is where most people start. I reworked the swap experience adding the UX for two new features:
Cross-chain bridge, enabling users to move assets between Berachain and other blockchains.
Fiat onramp powered by Alchemy Pay, making it possible to buy crypto with card or bank transfer.
Getting into the ecosystem now takes a few clicks instead of a few tutorials.
Design System
Tidying up the foundations
Behind the apps, I reworked Berachain’s design system to be more consistent, scalable, and easier to maintain. I work on it both in Figma and directly in the codebase, so that what’s designed is what actually ships.
On top of that, I keep improving the ecosystem’s core apps, BeraHub, Bend, and BUSD, working on features, architecture, and interface so they feel like parts of the same product.

What i learned
Working on Berachain taught me that good design in Web3 is less about novelty and more about trust. Changing a brand’s tone is a design decision, a design system only matters when it makes it to production, and the best onboarding flow is the one that makes a complex process feel simple.
